Our location is on two bike routes and is surrounded by other bike routes, including a bike lane on Greeley offering quick access to downtown. For an automobile, Greeley offers quick access to downtown and southbound I–5. Killingsworth offers quick access to North or Southbound I–5.
The neighborhood offers great school options! Beach Elementary offers a traditional curriculum as well as a Dual Immersion Spanish-English Program. Beach also offers Head Start and a specially designed program for pre-kindergarten. Ockley Green is a K-8 Magnet School with a focus on arts, sciences, and technology.
There are two charter schools nearby. Portland Village School is a Waldorf-methods public charter school. Trillium Charter School offers a K-12 educational program.
Jefferson High School, Portland Community College Cascade Campus and the University of Portland are just one mile away.
A New Seasons Market and the Interstate Farmer’s Market are nearby. Our neighborhood offers a rich selection of food, coffee, and beverage: Blend Coffee Lounge, La Bonita, Mio Sushi, and Tsumani Thai are one block away; Beaterville Café, Atomic Pizza, Di Prima Dolce Bakery, Hop and Vine, Madrona Hill Café, Eddie's Flat Iron Pizza, The Fish and Chip Shop, Saraveza, E'njoni Cafe, Thai Food Cafe, Pause, Thai Ginger, and Ukiyoe Japanese are within walking distance.
